Kids costumes
Unique costume ideas will usually crop up as Halloween comes close. While children should be allowed to exercise their creativity and come up with thoughts about what they will wear on this scary occasion, it is up to us parents to make sure that what they are suggesting are practical and most especially safe for them to wear. Kids costumes should be appropriate for the age of the child. Long garments that will cause them to trip should be avoided. Make sure that costume props are not dangerous; they should be taught how to carry swords or wands if these are necessary parts of the costume.
Kid’s costumes should be easily visible at night. Dark costumes should be avoided. Make sure that your child can be seen even in the dark. Making a flashlight a part of the costume is a good idea. Choose the material carefully. With all the candle lighted pumpkins around you don’t want their dress to catch fire. Make sure that it is made of flame resistant material.
